I was a big McGwire fan. After the whole PED thing came to light, I pretty much washed my hands of baseball. What really pisses me off is the lie, after lie, after lie, from these guys.

Now he wants to tell the truth? Too late Big Mac. Andy Petite told the truth when he was asked the first time, and the world seems to have forgivin him. If I had a vote for the Hall it wouldn't be for Mac/Bonds/Sosa/or any other player who denied it for years...not because they used PED's, but because they lack the nuts to dance when the music started playing.

IM fairly certain he only came clean because his hand was forced.

Most likely the Cards told him to, or else he couldnt take the hitting coach job.

They probably didnt want the allegations being a team distraction all year long.

IMO, it's either 60 or 61.

I honestly don't know how many Bonds ended up hitting, but I know it means nothing to me.

that being said, Football has always had its steroids cheaters too. However, football is far more a team sport then baseball.
