my favorite was band of brothers.

I hated black hawk down. It was a bunch of idiots leading another bunch of idiots, doing stupid things. That movie really pissed me off.

That's just it, it shows the confusing side of war.

Exactly, because there was actually a whole bunch of fail that added up to the true story.
My personal favorite scene is when they formed up and hoofed it out of there so the wounded could take the few HumV’s they had left.  That act is still referred to as the “Mogadishu Mile”.

Speaking of war flick, this weekend brings us HBO's "The Pacific" and Matt Damons "Green Zone"...a somewhat true story about the hunt for WMD's in the early days of the Iraq war.

I forgot Generation Kill. It's a really good book too.
