Some people spend too much time trying to mock the draft.

This....

I still laugh when people give their "draft grades"

Nobody can know for sure until 2 or 3 years down the road.

I can't wait to see Tyson Jackson in a few years.

I was driving around today and tried to listen to 610.  After two straight phone calls of morons bitching about draft picks I turned it.

It was a solid draft and we met some needs. Not all, but I think we got good quality.

Last year people bitched about "reaching".  This year those same people are bitching about not reaching for positions.

If you really believed you were that smart wouldn't you be applying with some NFL team?

heh....it would take away too much computer time for alot of those guys.

Its fun, but fans tend to put way too much thought into all this.  Any given year, the average team is lucky to find 2 or 3 guys out of 8 or 9 picks who turn out to be something....and thats a good draft.

The Chiefs really did have a highly successful draft back in 08.  5 starters out of 11.

I can't stand most of those draftnicks. As though they are more qualified to make assessments over people who have been watching film 30-50 hours a week their entire lives. I can't even discuss the draft with somebody like that. Anybody who isn't taking a "wait and see" approach really has no idea how a draft works.

Not taking a NT or LBer early really got me concerned. But the more I reflect on what they did, I love it.

They picked up Brown as a UFA, and that may be a great move. Put some more weight on him, and he just might be good.

But I am still scratching my head on the last safety.

My guess is they didn't like something about Pollard or they're looking to fill special teams.

I'm guessing they might be finishing the gutting of the team...Pollard and Waters could be gone.
